Measure the gap between two dates, or add and subtract years, months, weeks and days from a date — switch modes with a single tap.
The difference mode reports total days, total weeks, and how many weekdays and weekend days fall in the span, useful for planning work schedules.
Results use the browser’s native date handling, so leap years and varying month lengths are always taken into account.
All math runs in your browser with no server calls. The dates you enter are never uploaded, and the tool works offline once loaded.
Choose the Difference mode, pick a start date and an end date, and the calculator shows the gap in years, months and days along with the total number of days, total weeks, and the count of weekdays and weekend days in between.
The difference is worked out calendar-aware: it borrows from the previous month using that month’s real length when the day would go negative, and from the year when the month would, so a span is expressed in whole months and days rather than a rounded figure.
Switch to Add / Subtract mode, pick a start date, choose add or subtract, and enter any mix of years, months, weeks and days. The result shows the new date with its weekday name and how many days it is from the start.
Weekdays are Monday through Friday and weekend days are Saturday and Sunday. The difference mode counts how many of each fall in the span, which is handy for estimating working days between two dates.
